For my husband’s lunch this week, I am making a sweet and sour pork dish!
Here are the ingredients!
• 5 thin pork chops cut into thin slivers
• 1 tablespoon of the Marrakech Moroccan Mix- Salt Free- from Savory Spice
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1 tablespoon of sweet and sour sauce
• 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
• 1 tablespoon of duck sauce
• 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
• 3 peeled cloves of finely chopped garlic
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
To start with, I set the pork chops out to thaw in the morning. When they were thawed, I sliced them into thin stripes. I added in the Marrakech Mix, the salt, the garlic, and all the sauces into a medium size plastic bag. I added in the pork and sealed the bag tightly. I massaged the marinade into the pork and let it marinate for about 5 hours.
When it was time to cook, I heated up a large skillet on medium heat and added in the oil. Once it was hot, I added in the pork and cooked it until it was no longer pink.
For the side, I served it with a cup of salad with some Twisted Ranch Buffalo dressing.
