Spicy Sausage and Pasta!

Tonight’s dinner is a sausage and pasta dish!
· 2 packages of Al Fresco chicken sausage( 1 spicy jalapeno, 1 sweet Italian )
· 1 box of Barilla spaghetti
· ¼ cup of chopped Bird’s Eye’s Pearl Onions
· 3 cloves of peeled and finely chopped garlic
· 1 tablespoon of the Cajun Blackening seasoning from Savory Spice
· 1 tablespoon of garlic salt
· 1 tablespoon of salt- for the pasta water
· 1 tablespoon of olive oil- for the pasta water

This dish is so easy to make! I filled a large pasta pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. I covered it and put it on high heat. Once it reached a boil, I added in the pasta and cooked it for 10 minutes.
In a large sauté pan, I added in the sausage, which I cut into wedged slices, and the pearl onions, which I cut into smaller pieces with my kitchen scissors. I added in the garlic, Cajun seasoning, and garlic salt and let it cook on low. Once the pasta was done, I drained it and added it straight in to the sausage. I stirred it around to coat all the noodles with the seasonings and then served.
