Seared Pork Chops!

Today’s third recipe is some seared pork chops! Since the pork chops were frozen, I put these in a brine for 3 hours on the counter also after I removed them from the freezer to help them thaw.

Here are the ingredients!


· 2 tablespoons of salt (for the brine)

· 3 cups of water (for the brine)

· 1 ounce of the Hint of Thyme seasoning -from Cape Fear Spice Merchants

· 1 tablespoon of olive oil


I poured the water and salt into a large bowl and added in the pork. Once they brined for 3 hours, I patted them dry and placed them on a baking sheet to help them dry. I heated up a large pan on high heat and added in the olive oil. I seasoned the pork chops with the thyme seasoning and seared them for 3 minutes a side.
