Tonight’s dinner is an Asian pork recipe simmered in a crockpot!
Here are the ingredients!
5 boneless pork chops
2 cups of pearl onions
1 cup of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of squeeze ginger
1 tablespoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
2 tablespoons of the Marrakech Moroccan Mix Salt Free seasoning from Savory Spice
1 cup of Woodbridge Pinot Grigio
1 mini ham bone- for flavor
1 package of rice noodles
1 tablespoon of salt- for noodles
1 tablespoon of olive oil- for noodles
The pork chops and the ham bone were frozen solid, so I set them out on the counter at 8 this morning to help them thaw. Around 1 I started the prep for this meal.
I used a large prep bowl to help mix all of this together. I added in the pork chops (that I left whole) and added in the onions, soy sauce, lemon juice, both gingers, garlic salt, and the Marrakech seasoning.
After I mixed all of this together, I set the crockpot to high and added all of this in. I poured the wine over it, added in the mini ham bone, and set the crockpot to high and let it cook for 4 hours. I put this in at 9:30 and it was ready by 1:30.
I served this over some rice noodles since I wanted to keep with the Asian theme of the meal. I boiled these in salted water with olive oil for 10 minutes to make them soft. Then I drained them and served the pork over it.
It was so yummy! Enjoy!
