Pasta!

Today’s lunch is a vegan bacon and gluten free pasta dish!




Here are the ingredients!


· 1/3 cup of vegan butter

· 2 pieces of vegan bacon-finely chopped

· 1 teaspoon of salt

· 1 teaspoon of pepper

· 1 tablespoon of salt- for the pasta water

· 2 tablespoons of freshly grated vegan parmesan

· 1 tablespoon of salt- for the pasta water

· ½ of a package (6 ounces) of gluten free spaghetti



First, I filled a large pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. Once it reached a boil on high heat, I added in half a package of spaghetti and cooked it for 10 minutes.


In my non-stick skillet I added the butter, vegan bacon, salt, pepper, and vegan parmesan and cooked it on medium heat to make the sauce. Once the pasta was done, I tossed it with the sauce and served.
