Parmesan Pesto Pasta!

Tonight’s dinner is some vegetarian pasta with some seasoning from Savory Spice right here in Raleigh!




Here are the ingredients!

· 1 tablespoon of the Parmesan Pesto Sprinkle- from Savory Spice

· 1 teaspoon of fresh pesto

· 1 large white onion- cut into small pieces

· 4 tablespoons of salted butter

· 1 tablespoon of salt- for the pasta water

· 1 tablespoon of olive oil- for the pasta water

· 3 cloves of peeled and finely chopped garlic

· 1 box of Barilla Thin Spaghetti

· 1 large white onion-cut into thin slivers

To start, I filled a large pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. I turned the heat to high and left it covered until it reached a boil. Then I added the pasta and cooked it for 10 minutes.

In a large saucepan, I added in the butter, the onion, the fresh pesto, the garlic, the onion, and the Sprinkle and whisked it together to make the sauce. I let this simmer on low while I waited for the pasta to finish cooking.

Once the pasta was done, I drained it in a large colander, tossed it with the sauce and served.
