Parmesan Pesto Pasta!

Tonight’s dinner is a vegetarian pasta dish! Here are the ingredients!
· 1 tablespoon of the Parmesan Pesto Sprinkle Seasoning- from Savory Spice
· 1 tablespoon of McCormick garlic salt
· 5 cloves of peeled and finely chopped garlic
· 1 stick of unsalted butter
· ¼ of a white onion- chopped into small pieces
· 1 box of Barilla Angel Hair
· 1 tablespoon of garlic salt- for the pasta water
· 1 tablespoon of olive oil- for the pasta water
Since this sauce is so quick and easy, I purposely picked a fast cooking pasta. To start with I heated up large skillet on medium heat and added in the butter and melted it completely. I added in the chopped up garlic and onion and the Parmesan Pesto seasoning and the garlic salt and let it simmer together for about 10 minutes.
I filled up a large pasta pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. Once it reached a boil, I added in the Angel Hair and cooked it for 5 minutes. Once it was done, I immediately scooped it out with some tongs and put it straight into my onion and butter sauce.
I let it cook together for a minute so the pasta could absorb all the flavors and then served.
