Noodles!

Today’s lunch is a noodle dish! Here are the ingredients!


• 1 bag (12 oz.) of wide egg noodles

• 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger

• 1 teaspoon of garlic salt

• 1 tablespoon of garlic puree

• 1/8 teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice

• ¼ cup of soy sauce

• ¼ cup of duck sauce

• 1 teaspoon of hot sauce

• 1 tablespoon of salt- for the noodle water

• 1 tablespoon of olive oil- for the pasta water

In a large skillet, I mixed all of the ingredients into a large skillet to make a sauce. I let this simmer on low. I filled a large pasta pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. I let the water come to a boil on high heat, and then added the egg noodles. I let them cook for 8 minutes and then drained them. I added them straight to the sauce and turned the heat to high. I stir-fried it for a minute to get the noodles fully coated in the sauce and then served.
