Homemade Chicken Soup!

Today’s lunch is a homemade chicken soup! It doesn’t have noodles in it, so it is gluten free!
Here are the ingredients!
· 2 cups of chicken broth
· 1 cup of chicken flavored rice
· ¼ cup of frozen peas
· 3 fully cooked chicken nuggets- shredded into small pieces
· 1 teaspoon of freshly ground salt
· 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper

First, I set a small pot on the stove on high heat and added in the broth. I removed the gluten free breading from the nuggets and cut them into small cubes.
Once it got to a simmer, I added in the rice, peas, chicken, salt, and pepper and let it simmer on low for about 20 minutes.
Once it was warm enough, I poured it into a medium sized bowl and served.
