Tonight’s dinner is baked chicken wings with some Savory Spice seasoning! These wings were frozen so I thawed them out for several hours before cooking because I wanted the seasoning to stick more.
Here are the ingredients!
· 1 pound of Harris Teeter wings- it was a mixed bag of wings and drumettes
· 1 oz (2 tablespoons) of the Harissa Spice Mix from Savory Spice
· 1 teaspoon of McCormick Crushed Red Pepper flakes
· 6 cloves of peeled and finely chopped garlic
· 2 tablespoons of olive oil
· 2 tablespoons of hot water
I added the Harissa Spice mix, the red pepper flakes, the garlic, olive oil, and water to a large bowl and whisked it together to make a paste. I added all of this seasoning to a big plastic bag and let it marinate in this for about 5 hours.
When it was time to cook, I put them on a large baking sheet that I covered with foil. I set a cooling rack into the pan and sprayed it with Pam, and cooked them for 1 hour at 400 degrees.

I flipped the wings at the 30-minute mark to get them cooked evenly on both sides.
I broiled them for 2 minutes at the end to give them a little crispy-ness.
I did not make a side because this was the perfect amount of wings for the two of us.
