Tonight’s dinner is a Chinese Five Spice chicken dish simmered in a crockpot! I love making a crockpot meal! It smells so good in the afternoon and it’s so easy! Plus having only 1 pot to clean up is always nice.

Here are the ingredients!
· 3 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts- cut into tender sized pieces
· 1 large white onion- cut into thin pieces
· 4 teaspoons of ginger paste
· 16 ounces of Ocean’s Halo vegetable pho broth
· 1 cup of coconut milk
· 1 tablespoon of Chinese Five Spice
· 1 tablespoon of garlic salt
· 5 cloves of peeled and finely chopped garlic
First, I cut the chicken breasts into medium sized tender pieces and cut each piece in half and placed them all them in the crockpot. Then I chopped the onion and garlic and added it into the crockpot as well. I poured the coconut milk and the pho broth around the chicken and sprinkled the garlic salt on top. I added in the ginger paste and the five spice and covered it. I let this chill in the fridge for about 24 hours and then cooked it on high for 3 hours. I did not make an extra side for this dish.
