Chicken in a nutpods sauce!

Today’s lunch is some leftover rotisserie chicken in a nutpods sauce!

Here are the ingredients!

  • 2 roisterer chicken breasts (1 lb.)- I shredded it and froze it last week

  • 3 cups of fresh green beans

  • 1 ounce of vegan ranch sauce

  • 1 ounce of garlic sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of Blackstone Parmesan Ranch

  • 1/2 cup of nutpods barista original oat milk

  • 1 pouch of Uncle Ben’s white long grain rice

To start, I placed the chicken that was frozen in 2 ziploc bags on the counter to thaw this morning and also left the green beans on the counter in a plastic container to thaw. This took about an hour.

In a large sauce pan, I added in the ranch sauce, the garlic sauce, the ranch seasoning, and the oat milk. I stirred this together on low het for about 5 minutes to make the sauce. I then added in the green beans and the chicken, covered it, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to absorb all the flavors. Since the chicken was all ready cooked, it did not take long. When it was done, I steamed a bag of Uncle Ben’s white rice in the microwave and served it with the chicken.
