Caprese Sausage!

For this week’s lunches, I’m broiling some sausages! Here are the ingredients!


• 2 tablespoons of the Riley’s Griller’s Garlic Rub

• 1 bag of 3 color pepper and onion stripes

• 2 packages of Gilbert’s Caprese Sausage

• 2 mozzarella cheese sticks cut into small pieces


To start with, I set the oven to broil, which was 500 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, I added in the all ready cut up peppers and onions and the garlic rub. I cut the cheese into small diagonal pieces and cut the sausage into diagonal wedges and added those in too. I stirred all of it to coat, and then spread it all out on a metal baking sheet that I sprayed with Pam.


I let this cook for 6 minutes and then let it cool for about 15 minutes. I boxed it up for this week’s lunches.
