Bratwurst Sausage and Roasted Potatoes!

Today’s lunch is some bratwurst sausage and roasted potatoes!



Here are the ingredients!

  • 5 raw bratwurst sausage links

  • 2 medium sized raw potatoes- cut into chunks

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter

  • 1 tablespoon of the Hot Gnarly Garlic Rub

  • 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese




The sausages were frozen, so I took them out of the freezer last night and let them thaw in the fridge overnight.


To start with, I heated a large skillet on medium heat and added the olive oil. I left the skillet covered and once it was warm enough, added in the sausages and cooked them for about 5 minutes a side, flipping them once, so a total of 10 minutes cooking time total, until they were browned.


To make the roasted potatoes, I cut 2 medium sized potatoes into chunks and placed the salted butter chunks around them. I sprinkled them with the rub and cheese and baked them at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. I broiled them for about 1 minute to get them extra crispy and then served them with the sausage.
