Baked Sausage Rigatoni!

Tonight’s dinner is baked sausage rigatoni!




Here are the ingredients!


2 pouches (16 ounces each) of mild sausage

1 box (16 ounces) of rigatoni

1 tablespoon of salt -for the pasta water

1 tablespoon of olive oil- for the pasta water

1 jar (24 ounces) of tomato basil garlic sauce

1 tablespoon of garlic oil

1 tablespoon of hot and garlic rub

1 tablespoon of onion powder

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of minced onion

1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon of oregano leaves

1 package of Parmesan cheese (6 ounces)

1 package of mozzarella cheese (6 ounces)






First, I filled my large pot with water and added in the salt and olive oil. I covered it and let it come to a boil on high heat. Once it reached a boil , I added in the rigatoni and cooked it for 12 minutes.







In a large sauce pan, I added the garlic oil and added in the sausage to brown it on high heat. Once the meat was cooked I drained it with a slotted spoon and placed it in a large bowl.. I added in the tomato sauce, the garlic rub, the onion powder, the garlic powder, minced onion, Italian seasoning, and the oregano leaves and stirred to coat. Once the pasta was done, I drained it and mixed it with the meat.









I used my large 11 X 15 glass casserole dish that I lined with foil.. I added al of this to the pan and the sprinkled the cheeses over it. I baked it uncovered at 450 for 20 minutes, let it cool for about 10 minutes and then served.
