Tonight’s dinner is some baked chicken legs! I am missing Chinese takeout, so I’m making my own version of a takeout dish tonight! I ordered all of the ingredients, except the flour, from the Amazon grocery app!

Here are the ingredients!
· 1 package of chicken legs (8 legs)
· 1 cup of Bench View Farms Idaho whole wheat flour
· ¼ cup of Kikkoman rice vinegar
· 2 cloves of peeled and roughly chopped garlic
· 2 bunches of green onions- cut into large pieces
· ¼ cup of duck sauce
· 2 tablespoons of salt
· ¼ cup of soy sauce
· 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
· 1 green bell pepper- cut into large pieces
· ½ of a large yellow onion- cut into large pieces
I cut up the onion, green onion, garlic, and pepper and zested and juiced the lemon and put it all in the glass dish. I sprinkled the salt over the chicken and then dredged all of the chicken in the flour, which I spread out on a plate, and then put it all in glass dish. I added in the duck sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar around the chicken.
I baked them at 400 degrees for 1 hour in a large glass dish. I did not turn them because I wanted them to cook with the vegetables. When the hour was up, I broiled them at 500 degrees for 2 minutes to make the skin crispy.
Once they were done, I served with the vegetables that cooked with them and did make an extra side.
